Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience. Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist in seating guests according to seating chart or guest preferences
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menu items, and restaurant promotions
- Monitor dining room for seating availability and ensure timely seating of guests
- Collaborate with servers to ensure smooth flow of service
- Provide assistance to guests with special needs or requests
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station

Qualifications:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
